There are dozens more museums and monuments in the area, one more awe inspiring than the next. With over $300 million poured into revitalizing these important pieces of American History, Independence National Historical Park should definitely be on the top of your itinerary.
Another attraction that is this city's pride, is the Philadelphia Museum of Art. With and impressive display of art by Braque, and Picasso, Brancusi, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Duchamp. This includes a Japanese ceremonial teahouse, a 17th-century Chinese palace hall, a 16th-century Indian temple hall, a 16th-century Japanese Buddhist temple, and a 12th-century French cloister.
